Armageddon was not the last but among the best I've seen, perhaps because of the family story and not much of the sci-fi thing.

I absolutely loved Interstellar! Definitely agree with you here! It's such an amazingly heartbreaking movie and very well acted as well. The writing is spectacular as well. Everything about this movie is simply wonderful and sad at the same time.

I am still hung up on Minority Report. That was such a well done movie. It's based on a story by Phillip K. Dick. If you've never read anything by him, I highly recommend a book of his short stories. He is the author behind Bladerunner as well. I saw the newest one, it wasn't bad, it had that same slow build up and that same odd feeling.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is by far the last best sci-fi action/adventure movie that I've seen yet... I'm not really a big fan of sci-fi movies but this movie caught my attention that's why I consider this my best sci-fi experience so far.

I really liked Interstellar. It was a long one, but worth it. I also liked Looper with Bruce Willis and Predestination with Ethan Hawke. They are both time travel movies but done very differently from each other but both very effective. Those 3 films stand out of sci-fi movies I saw recently.

I loved Serendipity. I watched it as a kid and I just always compared any sci-fi I watched to that. It has just stuck in my head for years now.

The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) was the last good sci-fi film I've seen. It is under-rated when compared to other sci-fi movies. It had a decent plot, good acting, and the special effects were well done.

"Altered Carbon" is a tv show and not a film, but I thought it was entertaining, and I have heard the book is very good as well.

Although the movie differed in parts from the book, I found it translated very well onto the big screen. Matt Damon portrayed the main character wonderfully and the overall plot was interesting, fun, and at times emotional! I would highly recommend watching the movie or reading the book!
I loved “The Martian” as well. I haven’t read the book yet, but it’s definitely on my to read list.

For me it has to be “Stargate”. I love the movie as it was such a great and unique story at the time and it was followed up by my favorite tv series.

Interstellar was fantastic. Also enjoy The Fifth Element as one my favorites. The Chronicles of Riddick series is also very good.

Infinity War was incredible. I have been a fan of Marvel since the first Iron man and watching the culmination of 10 years of hard work and character development was breathtaking. They managed to get each characters tone right and did justice to all marvel characters. Amazing.
