The curious case of Benjamin button

Post by VAwkOb12 »

This movie to me was a bit unusual since it shows a man who ages backwards from being born as an old man to dying as a baby.

But it was in my view well acted.

Did you like it or did you dislike it? And Why did you like or dislike it?

I dislike it because humans are given birth and do not fall from the sky.

The part I didn't like was when they gave the baby away

I also found it to be a bit of a strange movie, but it was an interesting concept. It was very well thought out and well acted. It is intrinsically sad though, because the man lives his life backwards and everyone else is growing older around him.

I found it a fascinating movie, long!! however I hung in to see how he ended up as baby. His transformations over the years was oh so clever.

It's a commentary on the cycle of life. We end up the way we start, helpless and dependent.

It was strange when he fell in love because on the outside he was an old man but on the inside he was still a kid.

I think the concept was interesting, but the delivery just didn't work.

I like the plot and the idea behind the movie so much; the case of Benjamin Button is compelling and I guess that strangeness is partly the reason why people are attracted to this movie. The messages the film wants to convey are also meaningful. But personally while watching it I was not completely drawn to it. I guess the acting simply does not fit me.

@xuanmaii that movie has scenes that drag a little which makes it hard for you to fully enjoy it

Even the story is strange and impractical yet, I found very interesting to watch. Well scripted. And Brad Pitt was awesome and gave justice to the role

Wonderful insight. I never thought about it that way when I watched it.

I struggled to see it through to the end, far too long but the concept was brilliant

I watched the movie before reading the book. It was brilliant and much more touching than the book. In the book, Benjamin basically goes on an adventure and disappears from everyone's life. In the movie, we get to see him actually making an effort to be with someone.
