I completely agree with everything you said! My husband, who didn't read the book, loved it too! I was watching it and just confused the whole time. The task in the book just felt so special, the main character was motivated by so many personal elements and in the movie, the task felt like just a game they were playing for a challenge. The characters were all so uninspired in the movie as well.Dawnreader1 wrote: ↑28 Jul 2019, 17:59 Ready Player One. I am still angry about this movie! I absolutely loved the book. Wade was a dimensional character who was funny, smart, thoughtful and very witty in the book. In the movie he was as flat as a cardboard cutout. While the graphics were very good, the story was absolutely destroyed. What broke my heart even more...the author helped write the screen play. So I went in expecting it to be absolutely amazing. My husband, who has never read the book, loved the movie. Sometimes I wonder how we ended up together. Just kidding. But seriously just read the book. Don’t waste time on this film that should have been thrown in the garbage.

Wedding Crashers. UGH! That was a waste of time. It's like low-level porn. I'm shocked that Jane Seymour would lower herself to appear in that one.
Road House. Again, it's practically porn. Porn with fighting.

I completely agree!! Those types of movies send a bad message.corinaelena wrote: ↑15 Aug 2019, 09:13 Any movie that has cheating/lack of morals in it and it tries to make the protagonist seem like they have a good reason gets on my nerves. Movies like "My Best Friend's Wedding" for example...
