Any movie that has cheating/lack of morals in it and it tries to make the protagonist seem like they have a good reason gets on my nerves. Movies like "My Best Friend's Wedding" for example...

Will always cry for the demise of the Fifty Shades of Grey films. Can't say I was a big fan of the Eragon movie either. Don't get me started on the Shadowhunters series. The graphics and effects were really terrible for the latter two, and the first was just so fraught with this blatant lack of chemistry I boycotted the last two films in the franchise.

The Dark Tower because there's so little of the novels.

that god awful Gunslinger movie... had nothing to do with the book(s)
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

The English Patient. I had heard such good things, and it won so many awards, that I was excited to watch it. I was so incredibly bored during the entire thing, and I really didn't care about any of the characters or what happened to them. To this day that movie makes me cringe just thinking about it.

The Shape of Water. Can't believe it won an Oscar... was sat the entire time thinking "How are people okay with this?" I enjoyed the main character, Elise, but falling in love with an alien with no real back story or communication was just confusing to me.

Wade was a dimensional character who was funny, smart, thoughtful and very witty in the book. In the movie he was as flat as a cardboard cutout. While the graphics were very good, the story was absolutely destroyed. What broke my heart even more...the author helped write the screen play. So I went in expecting it to be absolutely amazing. My husband, who has never read the book, loved the movie. Sometimes I wonder how we ended up together. :lol2: Just kidding. But seriously just read the book. Don’t waste time on this film that should have been thrown in the garbage.
I completely agree with everything you said! My husband, who didn't read the book, loved it too! I was watching it and just confused the whole time. The task in the book just felt so special, the main character was motivated by so many personal elements and in the movie, the task felt like just a game they were playing for a challenge. The characters were all so uninspired in the movie as well.

Open House was confusing to me! I felt like I was always waiting for something to happen. When the ending finally comes, it is so disappointing and unfilfilling. I just sat there saying "wait, what?".

Tank Girl. She was so annoying.

Wedding Crashers. UGH! That was a waste of time. It's like low-level porn. I'm shocked that Jane Seymour would lower herself to appear in that one.

Road House. Again, it's practically porn. Porn with fighting.

There's quite a few Hallmark movies that annoy me and some that are guilty pleasures.

I cringed through every second of Avatar the movie. There's no doubt that movie could have been ten times better than it was and I feel they really spoiled one of my favourite cartoon shows.
