When your on a low budget it definitely is, gets you thinking about what you could make taste nice with a limited amount of ingredients. Also takes planning and budgeting as well.

I think it depends on what you are preparing actually. Certain foods require a level of expertise to prepare.

I love adding new ingredients to already made recipes! You can add whatever's in your fridge.

I love tweaking recipes and being creative with my cooking, because I see cooking as an art and a form of expression.

Yes, I agree. I also learned that the best part of cooking is the plating. It adds quality to the food.

In some things, definitely! Like when I’m baking cupcakes, it’s all about creativity when it comes to frosting. I like to use piping bags and get creative with designs

My dad is a chef and every dish I ate while growing always tasted different no matter how many times he cooks it. Thinking of it now, I believe he cooked based off our feelings and how we his children felt at the moment. So yes, cooking requires you show your creative side

It does for me,but only for those times that I'm in the mood or the food would be served to other people.I like it to look presentable in the others eyes.

Oh, and if you can read while the car is moving(passenger!) like me, the shifts in light/shadow ( from trees, clouds) on the screen are aggravating, at times you can't see the words. Although you can take a lot with you without the loss of space that books would occupy.

As a lover of cooking, I always say there is a difference between those who cook food and those who prepare meals. Anybody can cook food but not all can prepare a meal. Preparing a meal requires both artistic and creativity to achieve the desired output. so yes its both creativity and artistic

Definitively yes, cooking revolves around creativity. Having to cook a certain dish requires critical thinking and creative skills to arrive at a good and a palatable menu.

A lot of cooking has to do with creativity, but the ability to follow a recipe is equally as important.

No, mostly. Being creative when you know what works together and what doesn't-yes, release your creative juice. But if you don't have any basic knowledge, then don't consider it art.
Even to be an artist, you have to master some foundations.
