In my country still using plastic as food container, majority for traditional catering or small simple restaurants, and supermarkets too. Except, if the government making the regulation to avoid plastic as foods containers is dangerous for healthy, it have more danger chemical and caused death or cancer. Ofcourse. I am agree with anti plastic as food container with healthcare.

I have plastic containers to store food but now I never heat up food in the microwave in a plastic container. That's where the toxins are released. I am slowly building up my glass storage containers.

Yes I use plastic food containers to carry food. I think it's shouldn't be used to carry hot cooked food because it can melt the material use making it to the food and that can be harmful.

All we use is plastic for storing our food. It’s just a habit I guess.

It would seem most of the comments here have spoken about slowly phasing out their plastic containers for glass ones, which I think is the ideal approach to storage containers but perhaps not the most realistic due to how cheap and readily available plastic is.

I think I have heard that too. Thankfully my family hardly leave left overs. And plastic isn't common at home. We just close the food in the plate, hence plates in the fridge.
