It really depends on what you eat and where it's from because some foods are an aquired tastes even for true Africans from other parts.

African foods are highly nutritious, I mean it shows. Very delicious and not as spicy as Asian foods.

No, but it sounds interesting. There seems to be many African food lovers here. What would a typical meal include?

No. The closest I've gotten to it is blue food, I think.

No, but I once lived with a couple from Africa - Cameroon, to be specific. The food they cooked looked appealing, but smelled AWFUL. I honestly couldn't identify any particular scents, except to say that it smelled "spiced" on the whole, but the overall odor was terrible and permeated the entire house. I really hope it tasted differently than it smelled. I never tried it myself.

Yes. I eat and cook African meals every week. However, it would be interesting to specify African meals from particular African countries because there are a lot of varieties.

I taste African food daily and I love it. You should try mukimo and nyama choma from Kenya.

I used to go to an Ethiopian restaurant. I loved the the sour bread that they served along side all of the different lentil and bean dishes. So good!
