Carbs and sugar are my fall back foods when I'm tired or feeling down. It's frustrating, because I generally eat healthy foods but I still crave carbs on bad days.

crab legs with lemon butter sauce or I like to get take out from my favorite restaurant, Christine's Cusine - Salmon with delicious dill sauce on a bed of crispy spinach leaves.

But sometimes all it takes is my husband offering to cook/prepare me a snack.

Or it's just you having a taste for something and letting yourself indulge. Treat yo' self!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

Pasta with tomato sauce...but with lots and lots of chilies to burn out the sadness!

Hope you're back on your feet soon, OP, but also hope that you got lots of good comfort food inspiration to use until you get there :)

I typically completely lose my appetite when low or stressed. The most I might eat is some dark chocolate, maybe. Else, I'd drink either green tea or chamomile tea, depending on the time of day.

I eat all kinds of food when I’m upset. Recently however I have been having different kinds of home made desserts. I have also been enjoying fancy restaurant style food to help make me feel better like Indian butter chicken with garlic naan. During this quarantine, what helps you feel better is never one particular thing because it’s always what you can whip up with whatever you have on hand.

I don't have a specific food I eat when I'm sad. I know I eat a lot and never get full.
