Tomatoes - because the red of the tomatoes mixes with the blue and creates purple and then I feel like a king.

I try to avoid the normal go-to of sweets, although it's definitely hard when you're feeling down. My favorite is any kind of soup---chili, vegetable soup, cheddar potato, chicken noodle. They always seem to make me feel "warmer" inside and out. Definitely a comfort food.

I tend to go warm foods and drinks too. My main go-to is a hot chocolate but not a watery milk chocolate, more like a rich spiced dark chocolate. I guess what I make is less like Swiss Miss and more like Abuelita+Ghiradelli? In any case, my ultimate comfort drink.

I find myself eating mashed sweet potatoes. I make them very sweet with brown sugar, which I am sure is not as healthy as it could be. I like to lie to myself and say it is not that bad since it's a vegetable! Who am I kidding?

Chocolat. Or cocoa. That is also a food to go when I am bored. Or angry. And it really helps with everything.

Anything chocolate is my go to. And I've read it's actually healthy to eat a little chocolate (as in one serving) every day.

When I am sad, blue or depressed, I usually don't eat anything. Thank goodness that doesn't last long!!
