I love coconut oil! Don't worry, it doesn't actually taste like coconuts. It adapts the flavor of whatever you're cooking.

I really enjoy using sesame oil with vegetables and fish. Have you tried this? It adds an interesting flavor!

I think olive oil is the best. Doctors reccommended that to my parents. Use olive or canola oil.

In terms of health, olive is, of course, the best option. I mostly use it for my foods with veggies and breads. For taste, I use butter or margarine interchangeably.

Olive oil is the healthier option you've got, it is rich in monounsaturated fats, it contains large amounts of antioxidants, it has strong anti inflammatory properties and it is protective against heart diseases.

Olive oil is the healthiest of those options. Speaking from experience it is not a great baking oil for cakes or cookies, it is doable but the taste is a bit off. Coconut oil is even healthier and can double for baked goods, it also can take higher heat without scorching. Red palm oil is another great one for baking. Grapeseed oil is my new favorite for skillet cooking, best stir fry cabbage ever!

I use olive oil or an olive oil margarine spread for almost all cooking. I switched intentionally because a nurse told me it could help raise my too low HDL (good cholesterol). I can't say if it did the trick, or if it was a combination of changes, but my HDL now soars into the excellent range.

You must use a seed oil instead of using any vegetable oil for cooking. For e.g. sesame seed oil, mustard seed oil etc
