I made some Katsudon today, which I'd been craving for a while. My pantry is stocked with the basic Japanese ingredients, so I'm quite happy about that.

In honor of the first autumn-like day here, overcast and chilly, I baked apples with apple pie spices and walnuts. Coffee, a book, and a blanket added make it the perfect afternoon :)

I usually make fried eggs everyday for a simple snack or for a meal. I eat it for both. :) . I recently cooked a burger but it was "briocheless", as you might say, as it was lacking brioche buns because my friend, from which I ordered the brioche buns, forgot to make it. So, no brioche buns for that time. But it tastes is so good. :D :D
