Same here. I get antsy trying to eat if I have nothing to read. It doesn't happen the other way around.
Usually it’s because I’m really busy during the day, so it’s difficult for me to set aside time for just reading, so eating is my excuse to read!

I also love to drink coffee or tea while I’m reading but I definitely can’t snack while I read. It’s like my brain can only focus on one thing at a time, if I snack then I think only about my snack and I can’t focus on the book.

For some reason, Yes. But it's not a habit.

I usually don't like to eat while I'm reading because it's distracting for me, and I find it harder to turn the pages.

I don't like eating while reading because I find it really distracting, especially when I run out of food and have to find more food.

I usually love reading an ebook while having lunch if alone. But paperback or hardcopy, I am afraid of spoiling the pages, but the resistance is futile as I can't stay away from an enthralling story

I wouldn't go as far as eating but I'd definitely love sipping on a hot drink while reading.

I sometimes snack but most of the time I drink tea. But f the book is too interesting, I wouldn't know when the tea has gotten cold

Sometimes I'll read while eating breakfast or lunch, but I don't usually snack while reading. Just a cup of tea, especially on weekend mornings.

I can't seem to find the balance between holding my ereader/book AND snacks/coffee while I read, so I don't eat nor drink while reading.

I love to snack while I read, it is quite dangerous for the diet actually I can easily eat a whole bag of chips if I'm preoccupied with a book. I'm not much for drinking and reading though, there's something about losing a free hand that is distracting to me.

No, I do not have that habit, but if I was really hungry, I would choose to read, while reading.

If I am reading on my laptop I will often snack on chips/crackers. If I'm reading a physical book, however, I'm too paranoid that I'll get food/grease on it!
