To be honest, I don't measure salt. I just rely on my instinct to tell me the quantity of salt needed. Surprisingly, the amount of salt I use is just right for the food.

Like what most people have said, I just sprinkle it in there and taste it to see if I need more or not.

I don't measure it, I just go by my instinct :D. But you can try measuring it with your hands it works.

I like salty foods like salty crisps and I always add a few sprinkles of salt to roast potatoes and french fries. I try not to add any salt when I am baking. If a recipe calls for salt, I usually leave it out, as I know that too much salt is not good for one's health.

I just estimate according to the dish and the amount of food. Then keep testing till its perfect.

I start with a pinch but add another and another until it tastes just right.

I don't measure it, I just give a little shake of the shaker over the food. It's really a pinch of salt, not much at all. I like salty food, but I know I shouldn't have too much of it.

I don’t really add salt to anything except eggs. I mostly use spices when cooking. If I really need to add salt, I woul just eyeball it and usually that works!

When I cook, I don't measure salt, which is ironic. I just pick a pinch and continue cooking after I've added it to the meal. There's no reason to measure if the amount isn't significant. When it comes to cooking, you can almost always tell when something is too much or too little.

It depends on what you're cooking but when spicing my food I taste test. I know there is a rule that is like no eating but I would rather break that rule than be stuck with a salty meal.

Start slowly. You can always add it later. If you have been cooking long enough, you will develop an inner instinct. If you are new, keep on tasting throughout the cooking process. If you are following a recipe, hold back at least 1/4th of the suggested amount.

Most people in my country don't measure salt, we just keep adding it till the spirit says it's enough and the food's salt level is always okay. If I try to use spoon to measure salt, the food will be too salty so I prefer to sprinkle as I cook

I probably don’t add enough salt when I cook but when I cook for other people, I usually add more. Definitely salt to taste…
