The smell of the kitchen brings back fond childhood memories for me so that's the best part. I tend to have my fair share of baking disasters where I end up with nothing to eat and a whole lot to clean up!Oneka Quamina-Miguel wrote: ↑03 Apr 2020, 21:21 My most favorite thing is the smell of the kitchen when the oven is hot and the goodies are baking.
My least favorite thing is when the oven is too hot and the goodies burn or cook too much and of course the mess of preparation!

Rhubarb or fresh cherry pie from an old family recipe made with scratch pie crust and fresh rhubarb.
Authentic St. Louis gooey or deep butter cake is an iconic dessert.
Homemade pasta dishes such as vegetarian lasagna, cannelloni, and penne pasta dishes.
A wide range of quiche dishes especially with unusual vegetables.
Home-baked pieces of bread, muffins, and biscuits.
Vegetarian casseroles.
I don’t have time to bake as often as I would like, but those are some of my favorite things.
Unfortunately, some of the items contain way too much sugar, but they make wonderful special event treats.
Best wishes to all.
