What is your favourite and least favourite thing about baking?

Post by Wyinc »

I would love to hear what fellow bakers love and hate about baking. My favourite part of baking is that I can be creative and change the recipes and see what happens. My least favourite part is the clean up. How about you?

Least favorite will always be clean up! I tolerate it only because I love baking so much. I'm not sure I can narrow down my favorite, I love trying new things and of course eating them!

The end result (yum!) is my favorite, the time it takes is my least favorite... I'm always in a hurry!

My most favorite thing is the smell of the kitchen when the oven is hot and the goodies are baking.

My least favorite thing is when the oven is too hot and the goodies burn or cook too much and of course the mess of preparation!

I love to bake and my favorite things about it would be, a) getting to eat something tasty in the end, b) making something tasty for others, and c)getting to try new recipes and expand my repertoire of baked good. It feels so great when a new (a maybe more complex recipe) turns out well!
Of course, my least favorite part is the clean up, but also when I’m trying something new and it doesn’t turn out :-(

I love to bake, though I haven't had an oven in such a long time. I bought one a few weeks ago and it will arrive on Thursday, so I am excited.

I love that there are many different things that you can bake, and tasting all the delicious flavor combinations. My least favorite thing about baking is waiting to be able to eat the treats. Haha.

My favorite part is eating what I've baked afterwards! My least favorite part would be the clean up I suppose.

My favorite part of baking is really seeing the happy faces ready to sample my dish. The least favorite is the bulk of cleaning afterwards

You should be my sibling coz it’s the exact same for me. I also don’t like the waiting part while the baked goodie is coming together in the oven.

My favorite thing about baking is actually the end product. And the least favorite things I hate about baking are the strict adherence to measurements to get the perfect texture and cleaning up afterwards.

My favorite part is seeing how all the ingredients come together to form something delicious! My least favorite part is washing all of the bowls!

Favourite thing is weighing the ingridients. Least favourite is definitely finding the appropriate temperature to bake.

My favorite thing is getting creative with my foods and just getting excited about having something good to eat. My least favorite is probably waiting for something to cook or the clean up afterwards.

I love to cook for other people and give them something to enjoy. My least favorite thing is definitely clean up. Bleh. It's like you spend all of this time preparing something wonderful that's gone in a flash, but the mess is left behind.
