That is exactly my problem - no matter what way I set myself up I end up with a crick in my neck or else after a few minutes I have to get up

I used to love reading in bed. In theory, I still do, but now I can't keep my eyes open long enough to get a whole chapter in. That is both a blessing and a curse.

I love to read in bed! For me, there's nothing like reading until your eyes are closing and then tucking your book under your pillow right before you fall asleep.

I only ever read in bed (unless I'm at school). In the morning, at night, and in the middle of the day I like to be lying down to read rather than sitting up. Most likely because it's more relaxing and I absorb the book more.

Too comfy and I'll fall asleep!

I read in bed every night before I close my eyes. Its one of the only times in the day I get to have some alone time and to read. Unfortunately I usually fall asleep in 15 min.

What at the options? Yes or yes? :P
Definitely yes!

Hi, Bookbuddy, read on your Kindle in bed if you have one. I love to read in bed, but it has to be the old-fashioned book with cover and pages. If I read from my Kindle or iBooks on the iPad, the light from it being backlit keeps me awake for too long. So, in answer to your question, if you want a good long reading session in bed, read on the iPad, because it's backlit!

Try using a tri-pillow, Tibby, then put other normal-shaped pillows behind that. I've found that helps, because your neck and shoulders are well supported.

Yes, I love to read in bed... Mostly because I have 2 kids & a third on the way & nap time & night time are the only chances I have to read.

I absolutely love reading in bed. The only problem I have is that whenever I do, I always fall asleep. I have tried numerous remedies for this: I have used extra pillows, reading horror books and also going to bed earlier to no avail. It doesn't matter what I do I will fall asleep. I could be reading a great book and still I fall asleep. My solution to this problem was to buy a recliner for my bedroom. This seems to be working. However, I really do miss reading in my bed.

I read throughout the day but I definitely read in bed. It really helps to wind my brain down before bed.

I read the most at night when everyone else is asleep. So yeah, I do read in bed! And I'll usually be up until three in the morning because I'm too awake to go to sleep. I tell myself, "just one more chapter!" Then I end up reading the whole book.

I like reading in bed, but it tends to make me fall asleep with my book sprawled across my chest or face. At least I can find the page I was on by the slobber marks. I tend to read on the couch or in a chair to keep me awake. When I start nodding off, I know it's time to set the book down and go to sleep properly.
