If I am reading a paper book I prefer sitting up, but I read eBooks laying down.

Reading and sleeping is all I do in bed... If I can choose I read lying down, for hours, but I also read when I make dinner, when I eat, sitting in the garden, on the kitchen floor, everywhere.

As for me I prefer to sit when I'm reading. But sometimes I gave to read something boring and not interesting, so I'm becoming tired of any poses and places to read.

I mostly like to sit and read but sometimes read in bed too but trying to get a good position is a little tough as I wear glasses.

Finding a comfortable reading spot has always been a struggle for me so I can completely relate. However, last night I found the perfect position for me. I lounged on my couch and propped myself up (halfway) with pillows so that I'm in that in-between of not laying down but not sitting up. I read for hours like this with my fuzzy blanket and curled up with my dog.

Same here, I find it more comfortable to lie down with my Kindle rather than sitting up. For physical books I have to sit up because I find it hard to hold them while laying down (I'm a side sleeper).

Ideally sitting up on a bed with the back rest / recline position is most comfy.

I would introduce you to a third option which I do :)
Often when I want to focus more while reading a book, I tend to read it while walking in my room. It may not be the best way but I switch between sitting up and walking for long duration of my reading sessions.

Same here. Unless it's an ebook (in which I just read it sitting, since laying down makes me sore), I also get restless, so I walk around my room. I like imagining through movement– it helps me with feeling the story out. Then, when my legs feel sore, I just sit down and let them rest, and by then I feel less agitated. You can also argue it's a way of exercise if that help, haha.

I like to recline while reading because it makes me feel more comfortable for a longer amount of time.

Anything at all! For me, there are four stages of posture while reading :lol2:
First, sitting in a most sophisticated posture, imagining myself as some Victorian protagonist. Then, I start to recline gradually on the sofa or wherever I am sitting. The third stage is completely laying straight, book upon my chest. But, as the story progresses and my curiosity rises, I find myself walking with concern and eagerness!

At times, when reading an E-book, I place it in a permanent position and ease myself toward the screen as I'm watching a movie, haha.

the best way to read is the one that allows you to enjoy the experience without causing discomfort. You can experiment with different positions and settings to find what works best for you. If you're reading for extended periods, paying attention to ergonomics and taking regular breaks can help prevent strain and enhance your reading experience.

I read mostly sitting down, because if I read laying down, it's because I'm about to sleep in which case I know I won't as I usually stay hours reading a book and then I'll feel guilty for not sleeping at night. so, to make a long story short, I have to be sitting down somewhere in order to read. :)
