@gali It's fine. I don't dislike spoilers of ending. :D We can start after you're done! Let me know. Thanks for joining me. :techie-studyingbrown:
Great! I will let you know when I am done. It will probably take me a few days. :)

Great, I will get back to you next week.
:handgestures-thumbup:
Hi, sorry I didn't write back sooner. It was quite a hectic week! However, I'd like to start reading tonight and we can hopefully discuss it on Sunday or Monday at the latest.

It is ok. :)

Can we start it in a couple of days so I can finish my current book?

So, I'm not sure where to ask and I hope it's okay to ask here since it is related. Anyway, question about creating a new topic/thread in Read-Along forum: is it okay to create a new thread for a book that has already been buddy-read?

No, you shouldn't open a new thread if there is a topic already made on it. Duplicate topics aren't allowed. If there is already such a topic, you should post there.

Huh. While it seems to me that the restriction defeats the purpose of an actual read-along/buddy read since it only becomes similar to a regular discussion, I really don't know & understand the whole reason for the restriction. Anyway, thank you for answering! 😊

No point to open the another thread for the same book, as you can discuss it on the existing thread. The reason for it that it helps to keep the forums free from duplicate topics and therefore much tidier.

This thread explains it: Topic Creation Guidelines.

Anyway, as you don't currently read a read-along with another one, the point is moot.

Sounds good. I will probably start reading it tonight (I usually read at bedtime) and we can discuss it Sunday or Monday.

Great! Is it "And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer", by Fredrik Backman or "The Tour" by Jean Grainger?

"And Every Morning...". I actually had to leave home for a few days, to deal with some personal stuff. So my discussion is gonna be delayed for a few additional days, I apologize.

It is ok, I didn't start it yet. When do you want to start it? As you didn't answer, I started another book so there is no rush. :tiphat:
