Me having a book in my hands during a vacation is a staple sight with my family. It usually takes a little bit of effort on my part to remember to put the book down and engage with my family periodically.

Definitely. When I'm on holiday, I have a lot of time on my hands. I can pick a book to read anytime I want.

Honestly, I don't read during holidays, but I do watch instead.

Yes definitely. I wouldn't imagine going to my next door neighbour's house without a few books, let alone a holiday! You never know when you'll be stuck in a queue, or a long bus/train ride or a flight, or simply in a boring conversation!

Of cos I do, get the books ready before the holiday starts and once it starts I'm completely immersed in my books taking only bathroom breaks and sometimes lunch breaks.

I love to read on holidays. It's probably one of my favorite parts about traveling...sitting in the airport with my headphones in while reading.

I wish! I always bring something to read "just in case" but I end up watching a movie or series I have to catch up on.

When I travel to a relatively far place or just go on a trip, no. I'm not a travel person at all, so when I do venture out to some place, I let myself explore the scenery and the atmosphere. But when I spend a long holiday period being a homebody, YES. That's when I'm usually willing to be immersed in novels. With a lot of time to myself, I feel like I'm oh so ready for some imaginary world. Could be a lot more fulfilling experience than wasting my energy on the road.

Yes, whenever a holiday is ahead I plan to read. My priority is reading.

I find I read less on holidays because there is always so much to do, but I still bring four or five books along.

Yeah, I always end up reading so much more over the holidays. Although, I do try to keep it up all year. We've been having a few snow days here so I've had a lot of downtime to read. It's been nice!

Having books along on holidays helps me spend my time wisely. I am usually able to read books that I wouldn't have had the time to read.
