I’m a skimmer. This makes it a lot faster to read multiple books.

I am a highlighter reader. I love to color best quotes from the book.

I only skim acknowledgements... Skimming is my nightmare. What if I miss something important! I only started taking notes recently, I use Keeps and have note for each book I read. I don't read very fast.

I used to ride in the margins all the time and but today I don't do that and I tend to use sticky notes or a notebook. I would say that I'm a quick reader, but I do take my time and read passages out loud because there's a lyricism to some author's voices that you wouldn't get if you skimmed.

I am a slow to moderate reader in that i take my time to enjoy every page, i could never speed read and i cant understand how some people can read a few hundreds of pages from a book a day without losing some of the subtle underlinings to a book. Its not a race for me.

It depends on the book that I'm reading. If the book doesn't retain my attention and interest, I usually just skim until I get to the part where it gets interesting enough for me.

I am a thorough reader. I feel, that I should pay attention to the entire weight of stories. I love the emotions and intellect. I do not read stories, that are insignificant. I prefer to read summaries or reviews, instead of skim reading. When I am interested in only a small part of a story for specific information, I will skim read it.

Depends on what I'm reading. If it's a book I usually read word by word. But when it comes to blog posts and articles, I'm a scanner.

I’m definitely not a skimmer! I’m reading to enjoy the story at my leisure. I don’t write in the margins of my books or annotate in any way. I do sometimes write down quotes that I think are particularly great in a separate book. If I think I didn’t completely absorb something, I’ll go back and read it again.
