Most of the time I feel like it wasn't enough or rather is a feeling you cant explain.

I usually take a second and feel my feelings. I normally feel satisfied with a hint of sadness. Like saying good bye to a friend after visiting with them.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

Accomplished but usually sad. I don't like endings.

I feel a bitter sweet sensation because I definetly want to know how the story ends and the answer to lots of questions but I also do not want to finish reading the book, by the point I am only missing a few pages I start feeling sad, specially in good stories that make me feel part of the story.
great :) but not that great :(

Yes I totally get this feeling. And it's even worse when you're finishing a series

If the book is the last In a series then I tend to get upset because I know it will be the last time I get to read about the characters and if it’s a happy ending it’s even more upsetting as I want to see how their lives unfold after the book ends.

Super happy because I have finished the book.
People who read are hiders. They hide who they are. People who hide don't always like who they are.

If it's an extremely good book, I will think, God, it's done already? I wish it would never end. If, however, it's a boring book, my thought would be, thank God, this is the end, which would signify the end of my torture of having to read a very boring book.

It feels like a loss for a few moments.
It happens so rarely that I cherish the feeling.

I feel like crying because the story has ended but at the same time, I feel happy that I can start a new book.

Sometimes I have mixed feelings; a part of me wants to see the conclusion and another wants to cling on..
But usually I feel sad...its like losing a friend to me, especially if it was a big book
