I read a great deal of non-fiction, so not too many tears there. But the novel, Sarah's Key had me crying!

Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson is a real tear-jerker.
The end of Les Miserables destroys me every time I read it. It's so beautiful and sad.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur
A bunch of Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts novels.
I guess I tend to get very emotionally invested in the books I read. :)

TV shows and such usually make me cry. Books rarely do. However, the end of Believe like a Child by Paige Dearth shattered me. I have felt emotional over a few books. But with that one, I cried my eyes out.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows definitely had me weeping. However, it also got me through a terrible break-up, and I love Harry Potter, so it's worth it. I am currently reading The Hate U Give, and I have also cried during this one. The reality is so heartbreaking and the perspective is one I have never truly experienced. A poetry collection that almost always brings me to tears is Bluets by Maggie Nelson. I have raved about this collection on other posts, but it is truly an emotional, grieving book that has me underlining every other line.

I am currently reading the book "Ahmad Shamloo Letters to Aida", it's great, letters are romantic, and the poet and author of the book express her love for the mistress, and it has a strong pen that is Reading every sentence from that tears will be Carrie, but where's the love of Shamloo, and where's our love? There are some very nice descriptions that bring you through the letters and show you the truth of a true love. Be sure to read.
