There is quite a sum of books that have made me cry! For example: Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng, I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson and Always and Forever, Lara Jean. I definitely recommend these books for a good cry fest

Ever since I was a kid, I cry every time I get to Edwin's death in "The Scottish Chiefs."
"Rilla of Ingleside" makes me cry, when Walter is killed and when Dog Monday is finally rewarded.
"Rascal" by Sterling North, because the sacrifice of true love hurts. "Let's Roll" by Lisa Beamer because sometimes the beauty of the human spirit is overwhelming.

The president's daughter made me sad. The struggles of a man in love with the president's mistress, keeping the secrets and even having to live a fake life of selective amnesia made me she'd tears. The discovery of Dina's real position and her real enemies we're sad.

Two books that have literally brought me to tears:

1. Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan
2. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

They also powerfully changed my perspective on life.

I cry so much at books. The book that has made me cry most recently was The Giver by Lois Lowry. There was a description of a family on Christmas day that was so beautiful and tender that I teared up. my favorite cry-book is Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe by Fannie Flagg

"The Fault in our Stars" by John Green
As much as I was prepared to not get emotionally invested into the characters, I just couldn't stop the tears!!

I think the reason that I do not cry is because I get deeply immersed in the book and seem to be almost inside the story as one of the characters. So when another character cries, I cry. When a character laughs, I laugh.

Tuesdays with Morrie definitely made me shed a few tears. I first read the book in high school and it still holds a special place in my heart.

Khaled Hosseni - The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns
Mesu Andrews - Love in a Broken Vessel and Love's Splendid Song

It was a while ago that I read these and cried but I think I still would probably - especially in an emotionally labile state.
