Ptolemy's Gate, the last book in the Bartimaeus Sequence by Jonathan Stroud.
To avoid major spoilers, I won't discuss the scene that made me cry - but it takes place at the end of this book. It's a beautiful, bittersweet, heart-breaking ending and I'm not ashamed to say I wept like a baby, and still do on subsequent re-reads. The entire series is spent building this relationship between the magician and his djinn, and the third book takes that relationship to new levels of trust and friendship. The entire series is an incredible read (it's one of my favorite fantasy series) and the ending is crushing and perfect in every way. Even though it made me cry, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I have wept like anything for book When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. Till today that book belongs to my heart, I could never forget how it made me feel. It has always been on the top of my recommendation list if anyone asks one.

It is the memoir of the author who was a doctor suffering from cancer. He has written his journey very specifically and in very detail describing how he felt through the disease.

Have I ever cried reading a book? Only 95092 times!

- Harry Potter book 6 and 7
- The Thirteenth Tale
- the third book in The Hunger Game series, Mockingjay
- The Green Mile by Stephen King {I SOBBED and had to lie down for a half hour haha, was devastated}
- Flowers for Algernon
- The Book Thief, i wept like a baby. I had to stop, reread it, cry again, and it stayed with me forever
- Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, every single time
- Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawl
- Fifteen Dogs by Andre Alexis

I think The Green Mile is the one I'll never forget crying over, it really broke my heart completely. I will never watch that movie! I am very soft hearted and so i am a crybaby

 I remember I cried horribly while reading P.S. I Love you by Cecelia Ahern , A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. There are few more books but I'll put this three in the top because this books breaks up many heart many times but still are my most favorite.

I cry with almost every book that I read. It’s definitely a sign that it is a good book for me.

The Shack did. I read it 5 times. Each time in various spots, I cried.
In “the Prodigal Comes Home” I cried a lot at how hard Michael’s life was and what all happened to him.

Know My Name: A Memoir by Chanel Miller. This made me cry at different times throughout the book. It especially hits hard because several events she had to go through still happen around the world plenty of times. If you haven't read it, it's a must!

The book The Fox by M. N. J. Butler had me at hours of the night crying my eyes out when the characters who I was rooting for die in the line of duty.
