The Snow Angel by Glenn Beck. I can feel a character's pain as he looks back on parts of his life with regret. His problems differ greatly from mine, but I can relate to regret.

Spoiler Warning for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
I cried in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince when Dumbledore was drinking The Emerald Potion (it was Dumbledore's perseverance and courage that got to me). In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I was stunned and angry when Hedwig died (thought there had to be a mistake, so I re-read and re-read, because it would be the most uncalled for death ever, otherwise); Snape's death was brutal, and I was a complete and utter mess (still am, whenever I think of him); but I wasn't too upset about Dobby like most other people were.
Yeah, I'm right there with you. The last book of the series didn't pull any punches. Nearly everyone died. It broke me for a couple of days...

Also, I cried when Dobby died in Harry potter- not embarrassed to admit that.
