Has Lord of the Rings been filmed? It sounds so familiar.
Yep! The movie trilogy based on those books is still the most awarded series in Hollywood. There are also multiple adaptations of the prequel novel, The Hobbit.

I'll take a look then! There are sadly so many underappreciated authors.

I am reading The INN. So far it is an easy read but tailor-made for a younger audience. A fast-paced book that keeps your attention!

Sounds interesting. What is it about?
It's a romantic fantasy novel about an Egyptian curse. I'm still fairly early in the book. Right now, the main character, a teenager in modern day NYC has just met the ancient Egyptian prince who was reawakened.

I'm a big history nerd, so I'm reading The Plantagenets by Dan Jones. I'm also reading a memoir called If You Don't Know Me By Now by Santham Sanghera. Both are quite good, although vastly different.

On this site, I currently read and submitted a review (pending) for Daisy's Run: The Clockwork Chimera Part 1 by Scott Baron. I loved that I was able to read it for free but its definitely worth spending money on if you are a sci fi lover like myself.

At home I am working on The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (another sci fi). I'm a sucker for space opera. If you are too, you would love it.

My bookclub is reading Artemis by Andy Weir. It's not really my type of book but has witty and quick dialogue.

I am currently reading The Bloody Book by Chris Brown though it is not at all what you would think judging from the title it is a really good story thus far.

Hey there. I'm always reading multiple books at once. I am a middle years teacher and I always read 2 books for myself and one that can go into my classroom library. I am currently reading 419 by Will Ferguson, Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson, Pretties by Scott Westerfeld, and I am teaching Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen.

I just finished reading the series about the girl next door and Harry Potter. I am currently reading heartbreakers, which is good but not what I expected.

I am currently reading 'The Warramunga's war' by Greg Kater. It's not a genre I'd read normally but I just love to expand my horizon.

I am about to begin The Mill on the Floss (1860) by George Eliot. I can only hope it is as good as her Middlemarch.
