Right now, I am reading a paranormal series by Danielle Garrett. I kinda read one of the spin-offs before reading the main story, but luckily there aren't any spoilers. The main characters from the witch part of the series makes brief cameos, so I was able to enjoy even though they are out of order. I have since gone back and read the main series and am now reading the other spin-off. Once again, there's not much as far as spoilers go so reading the series out of order isn't a problem. This second series focuses on the vampire roommate of the witch, so it just continues to expand the world Garrett began building.
As for you & your heart & the things you said & didn't say, she will remember them all when men are fairy tales in books written by rabbits. (Schmendrick the Magician)

I'm reading the hypnotist by Lars Kepler. And. Loving. It. I'm nearing the end and its driving me absolutely mental. The author has an amazing way of teasing you with details which aren't obvious but you might just catch if you look hard enough.

I have just started Zorba the Greek (1946) by Nikos Kazantzakis. Looking forward to getting stuck into it.

I am reading Creep, by Jennifer Hillier. It came out a few years ago, but I finally got around to reading it and I can’t put it down. Has anyone else read it?

Anna Karenina. It's a good book, but don't believe the hype. Brandon Sanderson is much better than Tolstoy. He at least could make pages of Russian farming technique somewhat interesting.

I tend to read only fiction. I'm currently reading a Chinese translated novel called 'The King's Avatar'. It's quite slow, but I've taken a liking to it. I also finally started on 'The Fault in Our Stars' recently.

I am currently reading The Light Between Oceans.

It is a historical fiction novel set in post-WWI Australia, and so far it is extremely compelling!

The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I really got into it at first, but as I near the end, find it less entertaining.
