Re-reading "Luck in the Shadows" by Lynn Flewelling. After all these years I still think her books aren't popular enough and it makes me sad.

I am currently reading Don Quixote, La Sombra del Viento and The Girl in the Tower. And incredibly enough, I'm loving all of them. I highly recommend La Sombra del Viento (in English I think it's called The Shadow of the Wind) it is a really wonderful book, and the author writes really well

That must be a very good book if you're repeating it after all those years.

Has Lord of the Rings been filmed? It sounds so familiar.

That title very thought-provoking. I'm already thinking of so many different things the book could be about

That title sounds exciting. Is the book set in the moon or is it just a saying?

anniecalef wrote: 12 Jan 2019, 20:35 Currently reading The Burglar by Thomas Perry. Lots of suspense, spiraling plot, and the dialogue is swift and sassy. Elle, the story's protagonist is easily cheered on, even though her chosen profession is that of a thief.
Couldn't put it down and read it in a day! :tiphat:
A book you read in one day must be pretty interesting. I've had a few of those myself.
