I've just finished Manage Your Money Like a F*cking Grown-Up: The Best Money Advice You Never Got by Sam Beckbessinger and I have to say, this is the kind of thing they should be teaching at school! Without the profanity I suppose.....

I'm in the financial industry and there's stuff here relating to personal finances that I wish I'd known sooner. Highly recommended. And it's a fun read!

I downloaded a sample of this, and although the subject matter is very interesting, I just found it felt more like a textbook than a coherent read, so I didn't bother buying the book. I'd be interested to hear what you think.

I'm currently re-reading one of my favourite books, Die For Me by Amy Plum. It's set in Paris and everytime I read it I fall in love with that city a little more.

Just finished 'The Great Gatsby' for fun, and 'The Little Book Of Thrift' to learn from.

Both were under $20 and both were fab reads.
I reread The Great Gatsby on my Long trip home from vacation this summer (plane delayed etc)
I'd forgotten how much I enjoy Fitzgerald's writing. This just reminded me I need to go reread some more! so thanks :)
I'm currently reading non-fiction book on AI. Trying not to be too worried but anyone who's read much on the topic likely would understand...it's easy to become so.
I like Stuart Russell (I'm reading his book called HUMAN COMPATIBLE) but I sort of wish he didn't spend as much time bringing readers up to speed on the history etc. To some degree, it feels like the basics are already understood by people buying books such as his. But I get it and I'm sure I'd want to reach a wider audience as well.
Not finished it yet but enjoying it so far.

Just finished the 2014 book of non-required reading... it was ok but didn’t love it.

However, I started As Old As Time, a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It seems to have drawn a lot of the story from the Disney version of the story, but in a really interesting way. It’s obviously a lot more detailed but also grounds the story with reality. I can barely put it down. I’ve read 200 pages (about 50%) in two days!(to be fair it’s a pretty easy, fast read)
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

I am reading a book called Ready or not! Nom Nom Paleo. It is a cookbook and handily classifies different dishes into 4 handy categories.
