Paperbacks all the way! I like to read in bed and, if you're clumsy like me, having a hardcover book fall on your face is very painful :lol2:

I like both paperback and hardcover books for different reasons. Paperback books are usually less expensive and easier to carry around. Hardcover books are more durable when traveling. The hardcover copies also look nicer when showcasing them on my home bookcase.

Both i guess. Paperbacks are really easy to carry around and read as compared to hard covers. But hardcovers are really pretty and makes the shelves look good.

Paperback is easier to carry and read but sometimes I love me a good old hardcover book! There is something about a hardcover that is endearing and sometimes even nostalgic like the books in my father's library.

Paperback! Lighter, easier to hold/read, and looks better all dog-eared. I'm also afraid to ruin the cover of hardback books although I do think recipe books need to be hardbacks.

Paperbacks and hardbacks both are equally accepted by me.. after all i really just need to lie/ sit in any and every possible uncomfortable position and read! The thing with paperbacks is that they get torn and also the cover gets dirty but the upside is that they can be handled with ease. Hardbacks are great as well, give such a sturdy feel to the book and they don't get spoiled as easily as paperbacks. But as any reader here would say, we need a book that is IT doesn't matter if paperback or hardbacks!

Although I am not specific but paperbacks are easy-to-handle and being a student, they are cheaper too :roll2:

I'm good with either. I love the look of hardback covers but all the books I own are paperback. Mainly because they're cheaper and smaller, so they take up less space. When I properly start to build my collection, I will probably have a mixture.

I will dare to say that I am ok with not having both of them. I prefer the ebook reader over any other medium, mainly because I can take my whole library where ever I want. Isn't that wonderful?

It's a bit of a draw for me since paperbacks tend to be cheaper and easier to travel with. But hardcovers are more durable and tend to look nicer on shelves

I like paperbacks more because of the ease they provide, and not to forget the prices they come for! Amazing

Paperbacks are a lot more convenient when you are travelling. However, hardbacks in general make my bookshelf look neat and satisfactory!
