Depends on the time of day or night. Paperback; any hour that's not spent loving or being loved on by. Someone very, very special indeed. Hardbacks; are for when you can put some time into the everything of the book.

I find hardcover books uncomfortable to carry and read. I most definitely prefer paperbacks.

But what if you're in a Bigg assed comfortable chair with everything in reach.

Paperback books are much more easier to just sit and relax with. Hardcover books are too stiff and take up a great deal of space as well.

I am definitely a fan of hardcover. They feel so powerful! But they're also so pricey in comparison. :cry2:

I think I'm neutral. Hardcovers are finer and last more though. But, I don't have a preference.

Paperback because they are much easier to carry and cheaper. However, I do like how hardcovers look on a shelf.

When I really love a book (or know I'll love it), I prefer the hardcover. Mostly because I prefer how they look, and the feel of the pages. I suppose I'm a bit of a snob that way haha

If it is my favorite book or series, then i will try to purchase the hardcover edition. But if i am not sure if i will like the book, then i will settle for the paperback edition. It will also depend on the availability of a particular book in our country. Sometimes, we only have the hardcover or paperback only.

I prefer paperbacks for reading and hardcovers for collecting.

Though I don't have any real issues with paperback books, I prefer hardcovers. It just makes that book more of a treasure to behold, something to keep close and cherish, to admire within a collection. Paperback books usually end up bent or torn for me and though the wear and tear could be considered charming, I've always enjoyed the smell of aged hardcovers. Is that odd? Lol.

In general I do prefer paperbacks. They are less expensive and less weight when traveling or moving. Sometimes I buy hardcovers, for example new publications I can't wait to read.

I love hardbacks for aesthetic but they are less comfortable in my hands than paperbacks. For this reason I prefer paperbacks.
