I prefer reading hardcover but paperback is more convenient to carry and costs less.

I love the feeling and look of a hardback, but paperbacks are much more malleable and easy to transport or squidge into a bag

I prefer both hardcover and Paperbacks.

Paperbacks: I can make notes and vocabulary freely.
Hardcover: I can take the book with me even in a small bag.

Paperbacks for reading as i love having books that really look read, with scuffed edges and bent spines and everything. But hardbacks for series I want to show off on my shelf.

It depends. I prefer paperback because it will last longer and can therefore be read so many times without falling apart, but I like papaerback because it’s thinner and can fit in one hand while I lay a curled up. I like my kobo for the same reason but still prefer the feel of a book over looking at a screen. So I suppose in the end I really prefer Hardcover first, then paperback.

I love hardback books but there is just something about opening a book for the first time!

I love both paperback and hardcover books. Am not picky when it comes to that.

I read both paperback and hardcover because the love I have for reading makes me read anything readable.

I like both paperbacks and hardcovers, but I find myself grabbing a hardcover book more often. I like the sturdy feel to them and they aren't as susceptible to damage as a paperback is.

Hardcover for me! I am very particular with my books, I want them to look pristine and beautiful and that's just waaaay easier with hardcovers. Also, it allows me to still lend my books to friends. I don't do that with paperbacks because I never get them back in the same condition.

I do see the merits of paperbacks too though. Less heavy, less expensive etc. And if you're not concerned about a few bends etc or even love the used look (well loved) on books than paperbacks would be the better choice.

Paperback... Because they are easy to handle, you can carry them any where you want and they are cheap as well 😉 so paperback 😅

Although I like both I prefer paperback as It is easier to carry when traveling but hardcovers are much more durable and don’t tear like paperbacks.

Love me some paperbacks. Hardcovers are durable, but paperbacks are way less clunky and more easily handled. Also, they are more compact for all of the book hoarders out there.

yes? I have some books I love in hardcover. But I love the portability of paperback. It depends on what I am reading.
