If I'm laying down in bed at night and reading, yes, I get sleepy. But usually I just feel relaxed and absorbed in the book. I do get sleepy after eating, though, which is a little weird.

Yes quite often, mainly because I read in bed at night. But even during the day I will drift off! Can be annoying but to be honest this is one reason I love reading, relaxes me enough to forget about reality and have a restful sleep.

Yes, I sometimes feel drowsy if I've already spent a lot of time reading. But I can still force myself to continue, especially if it is very interesting.

I get sleepy when I read after having lunch or when I'm tired. However, it doesn't happen all the time; It depends on how well I slept at night. I tend to take a nap during the day so I can read afterwards and in that way, I avoid getting sleepy. It's very annoying when you want to have a good time reading and all of a sudden, you find yourself a bit drowsy!

I've fallen asleep while reading on a number of occasions. But if the book is really interesting, it wipes the sleep off my eyes.

Sometimes happens to me, but it's because I started reading already tired haha not because the act of reading or the book makes me sleepy. That's why I enjoy reading after being well rested.

I do most of my reading at night, just before I switch off the light. I find it puts me over straight away. :)

Yes, always. The only reason I read is to fall asleep at night since I've been facing so many difficulties with trying to get my body to just rest for once.

I normally read at night before going to bed. So I sleep by reading a book. I think, as you say, it's because it relaxes me a lot. Sometimes, because of the story I might have to stay late, but still I goto sleep with a book in my hand, almost always. I also read during my daily commute but I don't normally feel sleepy then.

I always get sleepy when I read in bed, so I usually read a little before going to sleep to get that awesome sleepy sensation and relaxation to get a good night sleep. The time depends on how tired I got home from work really.

Yes I do at times but it happens when I read my coursework (don't get me wrong because I do love studying) but I have never slept while reading a novel. Until today I have no reason as to why it happens so.

Yeah but depending on what I'm reading that doesn't really stop me.

I have a common habit of yawning after opening the book, for once I doubt if god doesn't want me to study. :snooty:
