I, personally, prefer hard copies. However, when I find books that I won't use anymore, I try to sell or donate them. There's no use in throwing them away if someone else can use them, even if it's a local library.

Definitely donate. If we really enjoy reading, we must respect the books at all costs. Though, for me personally even donating is very tough. I just can't leave the books that I have. I love real books over any other form. But yeah, if there is any situation in which I would have to choose, I would definitely choose donating over tossing.

Definately donate it. I feel like when you are tossing away a book you are throwing away some knowledge but donating passes the knowledge to someone else.

Donate them.throwing away seems weird unless there is a mechanical damage.

I go with donate. I have yet to complete destroy a book enough for me to feel I have to toss it.
