Books I regret reading are:
'Fallen Heroes' - the ds9 officers all die in various horrible ways trying to repel alien invaders. I only got half way through. It gave me nightmares.
'Twilight' by Stephanie Meyer - it was just....bad. I feel bad because so many people liked it, but it was like trying to chew cardboard with my eyes!
'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime' by Mark Haddon. I can't really articulate why, it just left me feeling wrong, somehow.
'Sophie's World' by Jostein Gaarden. I hated this book. I love philosophy, but I hated the male character, and didn't have a clue what was going on, or why he picked Sophie, or why he was such a manipulative *** or what the heck happened at the end of the story....

Disappointing Series:
Debt Inheritance by Pepper Winters - slow moving and deliberately stretched to force a boring series. (I refused to read past book 3).
Uncovering You by Scarlett Edwards - hated books 10 and 11(Refused to read 11 and requested money back from Amazon)

I absolutely love your review of Twilight. I didn't even bother to get past the shinny vampire part. I had to put it down.Margaret 2584 wrote:I've gotten to the point where I put books down with a page or two if they are boring me\offending me\I just can't be bothered, because as other people on this thread have said - there are so many other books out there, why waste my time on one I hate?
