My best book of childhood of all time was 'The Little Ginger Bread Man.' after being read to me by my late grandpa, when I was in class 1.I used to be fascinated by the way Ginger man ,a bread, escaped from the oven alive and kicking ready to race with every animal and I tried to mould ginger man one day only to realize it was a fiction story

I can't say that I have childhood favourites because when I started reading, I didn't have books of my own and my friends then were so mean with their books. So I mostly read stories from my English text book until I became of age and started acquiring copies of my own.

I have not read so many books during my childhood days. Cinderella and tinkle books were my childhood favourites. I love every comic story contained in tinkle books.

Anything Roald Dahl, especially Danny, The Champion Of The World. And Goodnight, Mr Tom. I unfortunately cannot remember the author. But it was my first long novel and I fell in love with reading ever since.

You're welcome!! Yeah, check that out, but I'll warn you... You just might wind up on a scary submarine at the ocean's floor, trying to find a way to resurface while avoiding the tentacled octopus...

I loved the Nancy Drew mysteries. There were so many of them they were easy to get at yard sales cheaply. Which was right in line with what my allowance could comfortably purchase.
