also Teddy Bears' Picnic by Jimmy Kennedy - my dad would actually sing me the whole book! Not too long ago my dad and I hadn't seen eachother in a while and I'd found that book and brought it. He sang it to me just like he used to and we both sobbed!!
As I got a bit older, my nose was always burried in Babysitter Club books or Goosebumps! I also loved those "choose your path" books where you made a choice to advance the plot and turn to a specific page. It was a challenge to get the ending you wanted to happen and also like many books in one!
