Which historical period is your favorite? I like Regency.

Regency and traditional I guess - I'm in love with Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series right now. It's such a mash-up of genres (sci-fi, historical, romance, fantasy, (Scottish) culture).

I have a weakness for highlander novels, teehee!

I would have to say historical paranormal.
I love to know about the history and what went on back before our time and I always love a good scare.

Oh dear, it's really hard to choose between all three since I love them all, of course, I love historical very much seeing as I get to know more about what happened in the past-even if they don't exactly detail all the hardships- and I adore paranormal with a passion-ah, I love to think that there are beings out there so like us yet so different as well- and lastly, I do like modern but not as much as historical or paranormal. Unfortunately I've read too many books that I think are just wonderful and I can't recommend all of them.

The Middle Ages and the Victorian era are my favourites. I enjoy it when they're mixed with paranormal.

It is hard to pick one for me... Each sub genre has something that I enjoy. I tend to read paranormal more than any because there are so many historical books that do not seem historically correct and that is a big turn off...

Historical fiction! I love them. They give me a way to escape my crazy life for a while and be transported into another world. I have always been a hopeless romantic and historicals always satisfy my need for a good happy ending.

I definitely prefer the paranormal ones. I think its the way most of them are the bad boy kind of books that gets me though.

I read all of the romance genres. However, paranormal romance is my favorite. I love how, for the time you are reading, you can imagine a world where there are supernatural beings and how it would be to live in their world.

My favorite series, by far, is the Blackdagger Brotherhood. I really like the writing style of J.R. Ward.

I would have to say Paranormal. I love the paranormal romance and erotica books. I love the series books like the ones written by Gena Showalter and Kresley Cole. I also enjoy Paranormal crime books where cases are solved by psychics.

By far it's definitely hands down Paranormal Romance/ Erotica. I appreciate the other aspects it brings as opposed to just some dull romantic Drabble. The Sookie Stackhouse series is probably one of the most recognizable books from this topic. However there's so much more out there to be read. I think if you like a little action and mystery, it's usually a given that it will be found in a Paranormal Romance/ Erotica.
