When I read a book, I get excited and I get so into it. There's no way I can fall asleep reading a book, it's actually quite the opposite for me, I stay more awake.

There are only two books that I have fallen asleep reading: "War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells (doesn't compare to any movie adaptations, in my opinion) and "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. I generally don't read a book for pleasure in order to consider deep philosophy.

I have read a book to calm myself before bed. It always has to be a mellow scene or book if I'm about to sleep. Otherwise, I get so wrapped up in the action-packed story line that I stay up reading for the next 3 hours, haha!

I can't read to fall asleep. I end up reading all night because I just want to get to the next chapter, but then I accidentally start reading the next chapter so naturally I have to finish it. I have to purposely avoid reading in order to go to sleep.

I used to always read before bed. Non-fiction self help books were nice to fall asleep to. Nowadays my eyes are usually too tired!
