I prefer to borrowing from the library, this allows me to browse and read all different types of genres. I only purchase my utmost favorites, which I know will be re-visited and could share or pass to a friend.

I like owning books because I tend to reread good books more than once.

At one point I owned almost a full library (exaggerating a tad here!) We had to move from our 2,700 sq. ft. home to a very tiny two bedroom apartment and we had two kids. So we had to downsize dramatically.

Of course my ex-husband decided my books were to be sacrificed. I almost cried. I haven't been an avid reader since, until I found this club!

I'm building my "library" again, only this time it's on Kindle so I know I'll never have to discard my precious books again!

I think one day when I have a big enough home library, I'll be able to own more, but honestly I adore the library and the time crunch just pushes me to read faster and get it all in!

I love owning books but I do like visiting a library - although, if I borrow a book that I end up LOVING from the library I will buy it online just so I can own it haha!

Owning is the best choice without a reasonable doubt. I love to own than visiting libraries because i might need to refer back to the book at any moment or time of the day.

I like the library for the money you can save, especially if you're like me and tend to go through lots of books fairly quickly. However, books that I've especially enjoyed, or sequels that I have been waiting for months (or years) to come out, I prefer to get my own so I can experience having new ones for myself, and also having the ability to reread them at my leisure. :)

I prefer to own the books just because you can reread them in the future again.

I love owning books too much, with the possibility of rereading them whenever I want. Sometimes it's just about checking something about them, though with the Internet it's much easier to find information about books.

I like owning them. I love to be able to look at my shelves and remember all the stories in those books. Someone once told me to look at my shelves like greeting old friends, and I really enjoyed that.

I own books that I personally love and enjoy to read many times. But, I have been trying to be a more conscious consumer and reduce my waste so as a result, I have been visiting the library more often rather than buying new books. Going to the library also exposes me to books that are old and new that I can read for free.

I usually buy my books and then pass them on to others. When I have a book that I could read more than once, I keep it for my own collection.

Owning is definitely my preference, but sometimes it’s nice to use library books in case you don’t like the book :-)

I think it depends on the book. If its something new or from an author I'm totally new to and the book hasn't been recommended to me by someone I trust, then I prefer the library instead of spending the money on it. If I Know it will be a good book, I'm likely to want to own
