Occasionally, I re-read a book, but mostly it was a self-help book and not a story or a novel. I read that book again because I wanted to remind myself of my favourite quotes, and sometimes I wanted to go on that same adventure trip. I revisit the books, which have some exercises to do in the last. Furthermore, I read my own answers there, and I see how much I have accomplished, whatever I have learned from this book, and how much my thoughts are better now and have changed from the past few years.

The only times I re-read a book is when I first read an e-book and then buy the physical one and re-read it.

I usually re-read non-fictional self-help books so that I can refresh my knowledge on certain things.

I only re-read the ones that I fall in love with. I'm a mood reader, so I'll pick up a favorite when it feels right.

I have reread anything from Rick Riordan multiple times, along with the Fifty shade books. When I run out of books to read I will reread those.

There are a few books I love to re-read like 'A guide to the birds of East Africa' by Nicholas Drayson. There are not many books I'll re-read often, though.

I find that if I read several books that are awful back to back, I'll need to re-read a really good one to help my mood. Sometimes doing that helps and I'm inspired to look for a different genre, other times I just get frustrated all over again because I want to read another good book in the same genre but the ones I find are lackluster at best.

There are a select few I re-read. The Greatest Generation by Tom Brokaw is at the top of that list.

I go back to books for quotes or to refreshen my mind on a topic they handled well. Other than that, I do almost no rereading.

The Bible is a slight exception. I'll reread parts now and then and am amazed at small details. When I first started reading the Bible I had almost no context, so things jump out at me that didn't before. I also enjoy looking at different translations. Just as in modern day words can have different meanings, the same was true back then. So, the words interpreted as "born again" can also be "born from above" (John 3:7 Berean Literal Bible).

If I have not purchased something new to read, I would have to re-read my old ones.

Yup, that's me! Not every year though. Usually once every few.

I notice different details every time, and based on the experiences that I've had during the space between re-reads, some features will have an impact on me in ways that they hadn't before. It's something that you can't really describe until you've looked at every nook and cranny with certainty that you know everything... and then realize that you don't.

I only do it with one or two series though. Children's books can be a lot of fun to revisit too.

I definitely have books I’ve re-read countless times. They are like familiar stories I grew up with that are comforting in a way. I have to be in the right mood.

I love re-reading ! I always make it a point to reread my favorite books at least once a year. I find that when you're rereading, it's always a different experience from your first and last.
