I usually take some time before reading the next book, around two days. This helps me to re-organize my mind and concentrate fully on the book.

To be honest I wouldn't wait another minute to find a good book. When I've finished a book I feel like I've nothing to do and start getting bored. Reading really takes my mind off things so I prefer to find a book immediately after I'm finished with the previous one.

Depends on how good the previous book was. If it was absolutely amazing, I need a day at least to be able to move on. Otherwise it's an hour or so.

how long do I wait or get into another book right away after reading a current book? Depends on the genre and how the action and story is.

If its regular Star Wars books i read them one after another but if its a fantasy series like Mistborn or Wheel of Time itll take me awhile to get back into them.

Last year i read the first Mistborn trilogy. Im kind of planning on getting into the Mistborn sequel trilogy but I know i might be busy with re-reading Dune Messiah up to Chapterhouse since recently this year i just got a few Dune books such as the Butlerian Jihad Trilogy and Paul of Dune

It all depends on my level of engagement.but at times 10-15 days served as my average duration between my last and next read.

I'll start another book immediately after finishing one if I have free time. Guess it's an addiction.

It all depends on my mood at that moment. Sometimes I can go a couple of months without reading because I am not able to find a book that I like. Other times I get so immersed in a book that I am driven to find another one to dive into right away. This is true especially for books with sequels.

One or two days to get the last one out of my system and to look for enthusiasm to start the next.

Sometime I will start reading a new one the next day, but I can get into an annoying reading slump that could last for a week.

If it was a good or great book, I will usually wait for a while before diving into a new world. It is almost like I need to allow the previous story to settle nicely, before I can move on to the next one. However, if I am on vacation with a lot of books, this period will be decreased to maybe an afternoon or a day at the most.

I usually start a book with one day gap. This gives me enough time to devour the previous story.
