How many books do you read at once?

I’m currently reading 3 at once so i’d say no more than 3 or I won’t be a able to enjoy them as much.

If I start a book and it's boring I usually start another. In most cases I'll end up reading two other books before I finish the first this normally happens when a book is recommended I tend to try and finish it, because I might have to report back on it.

If you read on sites that have incomplete stories still being written, you might have to switch up to read another while waiting for the other one to get updated. I read 3 books at once one time. It actually keeps the story interesting.

I typically only read one book at a time, as I like to follow the story along from start to finish so as to keep all the details in my mind for that particular story.

The most I've ever done is 3; one for school, one for when I'm traveling (it was on my phone) and one for when I'm home! I found myself in a number of situations where I was without something to read because I hadn't brought a book with me, so I started keeping a few on apps in my phone

I've known someone who reads five at a go. Reading from this one, switching to this one, picking up this other one...I can't get how they can handle that much at once while I can only manage one at a time.

Max 4. I would like to read 20 at a time but I find that if I have 4 then I can have enough time to enjoy the book and not feel like I'm neglecting my other current stories.

Most of the time I can only read one book at a time otherwise I get confused. However, I have found myself reading two books at once sometimes (one Ebook and the other a physical copy). I like to read Ebooks while I’m on public transportation because it’s so much easier than having the actual book (especially if the bus is crowded).

Not more than two books at a time, and they have to be completely different. Like if one is fiction, the other one should be non-fiction.

I prefer to read one book at a timè cause i want to fully enjoy a good book and don't want to share my attention to any other book.
