I have been collecting for five years now and am around 500-600 in hardcopy and 200 more in ebook. Used bookstores are amazing. 2 dollars a book!

I have at least 57 books. I've just read 36 though. Some of the books have been gifted to me by my parents but I bought most of them.
I didn't include text book by the way! 😂

I agree! Flea markets have the best books. So cheap. And I find rare books too

I own a few books. Actually I think I might own a lot. But I can't give a specific number. Maybe 40 to 50 books. :lol2:

I have owned a boatload of books, I had two bookshelves filled with fantasy, historical fiction, and many more varieties. I used to go to my schools library during all my free-time just to read a book and it was worth it. I now only have a 4 foot long row of books because I moved and left all my books behind on accident. (Sort of heat-of-the-moment type of situation. My mother has my books though, I am hoping to receive them any day now and start my little reading quarrels with friends again. Reading always will be a part of my free-time. But all my books combined? I'd have to count them first if I'm going to be honest. But my estimate is somewhere around 42-52?

Here's another question - what's the oldest book you own? I don't mean by that some old first edition of Charles Dickens or some such. I mean, for how many years have you owned a particular book? By way of example, I've a couple of books on my shelf that I've had for more than three decades. The pages have gone yellow by now, but I wouldn't part with them.

I probably have between 300-400 paperbacks and hardcovers, and double that in e-books. :techie-studyinggray:

Currently I have about 50 or 60 books but I plan to donate most of them so I won't have these for long.

I used to own a lot of books when I was younger, but I don't recommend it. Currently I only own one book. It's better to use libraries.

I don't own as many books as I would like to. I currently have around 500 books including ebooks. But one day I'd like to shop off my Amazon wish list and own a personal library.
