I think I’m sitting at around 100 books. Definitely looking to increase that number as the years go on!

I don't know how many books I actually own. I go to the library quite a bit and I have a lot on my Kindle. I also have a bookshelf full of hard copies, primarily books I have been given, won in a giveaway, or bought because I read and enjoyed them. I am trying to get all of Jodi Picoult's books because she's my favorite and I have 18 by her.

I own about 20 books. But, I bought a kindle in 2018. Since then, I have been reading books on Kindle. I love paper books too but, I feel that Kindle gives more freedom of reading books. I have a Kindle collection of 1000+ books.
Despite of owning kindle, I always like to purchase 1 book per month so that I don't miss the feel of Paper books :D

I have been collecting books since I was first grade, and I didn't realize just how many I had until I went to move in with my husband. I was only able to move about half of my books from my parents' house to my new home before I realized that there was nowhere near enough room for them.

A few hundred. I took a break from reading for years, so that set me back some.

But I'd estimate around 600-700. Also I think I'll start hiding my books, cause guys borrow my favourites and never return them.

I used to own hundreds of hard copy books. That made moving too much of a challenge, though, so when I got my Kindle I repurchased the books that I really enjoyed. Since adding even more now to my Kindle collection, I have about 2500, and just a handful (well, about 30) of hard copy books.

I have about 30 books all together that I've bought on my own, but I've also been borrowing books from my local libraries ever since I was 11 so I've actually read way more.

My owned-books list is incomplete, so I have no idea exactly how many books I own. However, I would say at least 40. I have begun to slowly add to my collection over the years and my to-buy list is close to 100. I will have my library all in good time :)

Believe it or not my current total number of books is approximately 17,345 give or take 15-25 books. I have been collecting since I was 13 and inherited my parents collection when they died (7000 books). I have rented a storage locker, have a shed at home, and an office that is 20 by 20 filled with books. Estate sales are my friend and have been able to buy books at a bargain price.

Have you separated your boxes by author and genre? How about by favorite authors and genre? Have you alphabetized your boxes?

It takes time but it helps me find what I need.
