I love both- probably lean a little more toward action. Some of the best books offer both.

They both get me excited just in different ways; romance is exhilarating when the two characters are meeting and about to fall in love, but then it becomes boring. In turn, action stories are exciting when you are trying to see whether the character will live or die, but if it’s used to much it becomes dull and overdone.

Same! I do prefer having both in a novel but much prefer action if I absolutely had to choose.

I would rather have a blend of both. Too much romance in a novel becomes less sweet and more cringe inducing. Too much action becomes less of a plot and more chaos.

action puts me on the edge. Romance novels are predictable almost all of the time.

For me analyzing the mind set of viewers ,action movies are popular in kids but romantic and tragedy movies
Becomes favorite for adults and teens.
Action with romance makes the movies blockbuster on film industry

Both, really. I like having a nice little balance going.

Let's put both together. They each make the other better. Most stories, no matter the genre, do have an element of romance.

I enjoy romance with action. As long as it pulls you in from the beginning then I’ll be hooked.
