Does small and compacted print discourage you from reading?

I'm definitely discouraged by small print. My sight is not very good - I wear glasses. So, I have a hard time reading small print. Maybe that's the reason I like e-readers - I can easily zoom in and used a comfortable size font.

I need glasses to read so it definitely is a discouraging thing for me. That's actually why I started switching to ebooks, because they let you change the size of the text to something larger.

The tiny print is too hard to see and makes reading too much of a chore. Reading should be fun. I don't want to have to work so hard just to see the words.

No it does not. Reading gets tough especially if the light conditions aren't conducive. But I can't altogether say that if I see a book in small print, I am discouraged to read it.

It definitely discourages me. I don't want to squint my eyes just to read a book that's right in front of me. It's inconvenient and hurts my eyes, especially when the book is several pages long. I'll just move on to another book.

Um, they would, yes. Fortunately I've never had to read books with that type of uncomfortably small prints, tho. Even if the content captures my attention, it would still be a pain in the neck.

Same thing for me! I hate the eye strain and it's harder to focus. I was reluctant to use e-readers but they are actually really convenient! I also have bought large print books in the past, which are usually huge books! Glad I don't have to do that anymore.

I actually don't mind, but only if the book is REALLY good. I feel like I'm reading a textbook otherwise and it turns me off to it.
