If I'm trying to choose a book to read, then yes I read, at the very least, any kind of summary. I don't really bother reading reviews that are printed on the cover. They're kind of useless.

I sure do. This is the book's elevator speech to you. This is how they sell themselves to you in some regards. I love them. The artwork on some is fantastic. Now do I judge a book by its cover, no, but I sure do like to look at them.

I read the blurb and the artist's name if I love the cover.

I do! It's good to get familiar with the story before reading.

I always read the jacket but I don't buy based on jacket. I either look up reviews online or read the first few chapters in the book store.

Yes, I read the bookcover. I tend to read the book cover before purchasing any books as it contains about the author, description of the book, other's short review of the book.

If it's a hardcopy book then yeah. But I just skim through on ebooks. It also helps that some ebooks don't have them.

Yes, and the summary. Sometimes I realize while checking out the cover that the description might give more information than I would've preferred to get. Then I stop reading and just get the book. This is where beautiful book covers can come in handy as well.

I usually read it for hardcopy books. For ebooks I often look at the brief description of the book at the site I got it from.

Absolutely! That's the first step in selecting a good for me. I would read the back cover, the summary and also any reviews about the book.

I've never started reading a book book before its front and back covers. I feel like I am preparing myself to read it. It gives an introduction to the book. Since covers is parts of books you read I arge all of you to read them 😉

I honestly don’t read reviews. Only the summary and if I like it I buy the book.

Yes, the book cover tells me a lot about the book, so yes, I read the book cover.

Yes definitely. I want to get a good feel for a book before I start reading. This is very important to me!
