I hate books that have a really.....what's the word? Cheesy, yes that's it. I hate books that have cheesy titles. Like, for example......Fire Kiss. Or Forever In Love. No. Just-no. Ugh...

I don't care for books with sleazy girls on the covers.

I thought of another one! Books with really "common" titles. If you search the book on Amazon and get ten different titles with the same name, I don't want to read any of them!

I am strange but I will not read a book If I hate the cover, if the title is awefully stupid, and if the summarybon the back sounds stupid.

I have to agree with you, there. It really winds me up if the cover is tacky. Ever since I took up reading romance/erotica, I've started noticing this more and more. The authors seem to like recycling the same, tired cover models who don't always match the characters they're writing about?! It looks to me like it's stock library pictures, which irritates me even more and puts me off reading the book.

Too much focus on the author's name can be a bit annoying... besides that, any bad cover design will surely make me unwilling to pick it up.

Bad writing usually turns me away from a book. If I do not like the book cover I may not read the book unless I think the summary is interesting.

Bad reviews.... Never read a book which had very less rating... and sometimes Bad title... I don't want to read any book which has embarrassing title... If its not a eBook then a good cover is necessary..

For me any book that is bound and has tissue paper pages with really small print is one I will not read. I am always afraid that I will rip the tissue. I have had several of these types of books in my life and would get so frustrated if the page ripped. Also some books that have a subject matter that I might find hurtful I generally wont choose. I don't mind books that focus on some aspect of healing but if they are too graphic I cannot read them.

If a book doesn't have a good blurb, that grips me and makes me want to open the book right there and start reading, then I am not interested. I also really hate books that are re-released with covers featuring pictures of the actors from the new motion picture of the book.

I'm not one to turn down a book by its cover, I normally give anything a try in case it is an amazing book. But if the cover is blurry and just a googled plain picture with nothing different to it I normally try to pass them. I also look at the description and if it is just one sentence or a few words I pass because a description to me is important , it brings your readers in.
Good books Don't give up all there secrets at once.

I agree with you...I really despise revamped movie covers.
