I would say historical fiction is my favorite as it makes you learn about the history part of the book but in an often unique way.

I read just about anything and everything ! Whichever the genre it is, I'm usually reading to (unconsciously) immerse myself in a completely different world--I just love feeling like I'm living alongside or as the book characters

I like non-fictions. They are not mostly for entertainment. Some other books with different genres just suck since they are written without any moral lesson.

This is hard because I'm a mood reader. But I find that I could never go wrong with fantasy and romances.

I love the fantasy genre! Mainly because it can't happen here and it can be nice to escape to a mythical world.

I don't have a favorite genre either, I only care that the book is good. But I do like books that help me to forget my own reality too Catherine, my life kinds of sucks too right now.

I tend to like action/suspense or a good mystery. I also seem to be drawn to good court room dramas. However, a good romance is always a pleasure to read as well. Guess I just like to read - anything that keeps my attention.
