I liked reading and studying books in English however I don't really remember many now except one I didn't get to finish. I did drama though and studied all of Shakespeare's plays and also a play called "Tia Lavandera and the day of the dead" which I loved

I remember we had to read To Kill A Mockingbird and we watched the movie with the same title starring Gregory Peck. Also, The Pigman, but I don't remember this one as well.

I don't know if this counts as a book but I read Inspector Calls at school and I fell in love with it. I also studied Romeo and Juliet and that is one of my favourite reads :)

I read and loved a small book in my intermediate High School called Where's Mauriac. It was a dynamic book, making you go back and forth between pages depending on your answers to certain exercises. I found it very fun, and it helped me develop my love for reading.

In 3rd year we done Lord of the Flies. I ADORED this book. I had read it twice before we discussed it.

In 5th year we covered a book for an entire year which I detested so much I couldn't put it into words.

" The Cone Gatherers "

In high school we read one Shakespeare play a year except Junior year which was American lit. So Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Hamlet. Those years I don't really remember anything else. Junior year we read The Catcher in the Rye, Death of a Salesman, The Things They Carried, Huck Finn, The Great Gatsby, Cats Cradle and The House of Mirth. A good year for reading.

Man, I missed a lot of classics because we had ESL, and the lit had to be according to our supposed reading level.

I remember really enjoying The Adventures of Tom Sawyer when we read it in school. I'm sure there were others I liked too, but that one is sticking out in my mind for some reason.
